The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) confirmed the massive destruction at the Nur Shams camp in the West Bank, directly affecting thousands of Palestinian refugees and threatening an even more critical situation.
UNRWA denounced that these actions, which include the demolition of 25 buildings, seek to impose long-term control over the camps in the northern West Bank and could lead to the forced displacement of more than 32,000 Palestinians, justified by “Israel” under an alleged argument of military necessity.

The United Nations (UN) has warned of the critical shortage of humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip, where winter and Israeli attacks are worsening the situation for thousands of families. The organization noted that adverse weather conditions are exacerbating the crisis in the territory, endangering displaced people living in the open and refugees among the ruins.
According to the UN, an estimated 1.3 million people in the Gaza Strip are in need of aid and shelter. However, humanitarian workers are unable to meet the growing needs of Gazans, as the entry of essential supplies remains severely restricted by Israel. The multilateral organization indicated that tents, shelter materials, and other basic supplies continue to be blocked by Israel, despite months of waiting to enter. These materials could protect hundreds of thousands of affected people, whose living conditions are rapidly deteriorating due to the lack of basic resources.
Olga Cherevko, spokesperson for the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), explained that at points of entry, humanitarian aid is often prioritized over commercial goods, leading to long waits. This practice significantly slows the delivery of vital aid to a desperate population.

In addition to the delays, there are irregular hours at border crossings, as well as complications with loading and unloading. Furthermore, there are restrictions on certain items considered “blocked” by the authorities. The spokesperson added that administrative requirements imposed on non-governmental organizations are preventing some of the aid from even leaving the warehouses.
Cherevkov warned that the risks of hypothermia are very high, especially for babies, who are particularly vulnerable to extreme cold. The spokesperson lamented that the full response capacity of aid teams on the ground cannot be deployed, given the scale of the humanitarian crisis and ongoing limitations.
According to the official statistics report, since the cessation of hostilities on October 11, 2025, some 393 civilians were killed, while 1,074 were wounded. The total number of bodies recovered was 634.
The Ministry of Health reported that the cumulative death toll from Israeli actions in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has reached 70,667 , with 171,151 people wounded .
According to the ministry, numerous victims remain trapped in the rubble and in the streets , as ambulance and civil defense services have been unable to reach the affected areas.
